さる７月２４日（日）古民家体験宿泊施設「阿ん木のうち」オープニングイベントとして「阿木ウオーク」を開催しました。夏休み最初の日曜日ということで、暑い中参加者が来てくれるか心配しながらの開催でしたが。参加者３０人強、スタッフ１１名と沢山の参加者で楽しく開催することができました。

当日、天候は曇り。梅雨明けの猛暑を覚悟していたがこの時期のウォーキングには最適な気候でした。参加者は上は７０代、下は幼稚園児まで。様々な年齢層の方が楽しく歩くことができました。
阿木の西尾区長会長、鷹見市会議員のあいさつの後、阿木城跡保存会の中神さんの案内で出発。コースは、阿木城→八幡神社→萬嶽寺（花ハス）→阿ん木のうちの　約４ｋｍ。アップダウンがあるのでまずまずのコースです。
阿木城跡では中神さんの説明を聞き、萬嶽寺では住職の皮地さんが沢山のお話をしてくれました。阿ん木のうちに戻った後は昼食。五平餅、阿木の特産である安岐そばなどをいただき、子供たちにはスイカ割りを楽しんでもらいました。

中津川市役所からも定住推進課の方々が参加してくださって、大変にぎやかな会となりました。秋には大イチョウを見る会を計画しています。
中津川市を体験する機会に「阿ん木のうち」が活用されるようになると、私たちもやりがいがあります。
