岐阜県中津川市の南端に位置する阿木地区は美しい自然に囲まれた豊かな土地です。標高が高く寒暖の差が大きい、良質な水がある、など美味しいお米のできる条件が整っています。その中でも独自の米作りに取り組んできたのが西尾さんです。
土づくりから肥料の配合、水の出し入れなどの工夫をこらし食味ランキング特Ａ級のお米を出荷しています。もちろん残留ゼロの減農薬農法です。
今年も、米作り名人西尾さんが手がける、耕作放棄地を利用した田んぼのオーナーを募集します。普段の管理はすべて西尾さんが行い、オーナーは田植えや稲刈りなどイベントに参加いただくだけでご自分のお米を育てることができます。
